Surfing off of the awesome boogie high Live Action Sports achieved over the last week, I’ve decided to keep the good vibrations going by extending the clearance sale to the online store. Hop on over and find prices chopped, what’s left of the inventory after the Dollar Daze frenzy, that is. While you’re there kiss some of the designs good-bye, as once they are gone, they are gone for good from Walbrook!
Clearance Sale Continued!
September 7th, 2011Renewing my vows plus Clearance at Couchfreaks!
August 24th, 2011Although I took a few years off skydiving in order to procreate the other half of Shawn and me’s future 4-way team, I’ve never missed a Dollar Daze, aka Couchfreaks, boogie since my first skydive season. This spring I deemed 2011 the year of my return to the great and beloved sky, and to celebrate the renewal of the vows between 14,000 feet and I, Live Action Sports is slashing prices in half under the big tent at the Dollar Daze boogie at the Fort Dodge airport, August 31 through September 4. All women’s and men’s tshirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, and kids shirts (NB – 4t) will be 50 – 75% off!
I, Janet White, take you, The Sky, to be my wedded beloved. To jump and to fly in, from this day forward, in good skydives and in reserve rides, for low jump prices and expensive jump prices, in sinus infection and in adrenaline rush, to love and to cherish till death do us part. And hereto I pledge to you my faithfulness.
Consider this your formal invitation to stop by the LAS tent, congratulate me and altitude on our re-commitment to our relationship, hang out on the couch, and enjoy the idea of adding to your skydive wardrobe without sacrificing an entire jump ticket. Maybe we can make a jump together…a 3-way with me, you, and my beloved Sky. Maybe you’ll bring the cake?

Anatomy of Wonderboy
July 9th, 2010I met Cole Chapman in 2006 at the Des Moines Skydiver’s Dollar Daze Boogie in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was introduced to me as Wonderboy; which apparently was an endearing nickname given to him by his instructors at Tri-State Skydive. My initial thoughts about Wonderboy were that he barely looked 13 years old and that he had a permanent Cheshire grin on his face like he was enjoying a joke you weren’t privy to. In the years following I saw Cole at the occasional dropzone or skydive event (I specifically remember the Dubuque Boogie where he bought one of Live Action Sports’ radical shirts). Knowing I should keep tabs on Cole but not knowing why, I followed his adventures, or at least the ones he posted on Facebook. Finally, when he road tripped to California to surf, I insisted I get a first-hand account of the escapade to post on Live Action Sports’ website. To accompany the account, I also requested a brief biography so readers could get to know a little about the Wonderboy. Read the rest of this entry »
